Horse of the Week: Kit

 Back for our 3rd HOTW!

This week features my first "girl" horse...though it feels wrong to choose their genders for them, so these assignments are unconfirmed. With that said, I think it's fair to say that Kit radiates feminine energy. 

I chose her pink gingham pattern because it felt very springy, and at this point I am very much over the cold weather. Kit emanates the same energy as a summer afternoon picnic on a weekday. She's laid back, she's fun, and everyone loves her. 

Her name came from another vibe that she emanates, which is the American Girl Doll, Kit Kittredge. Kit was my go to American Girl Doll as a child, and I think if Kit were to have a horse, it would be pink gingham- it just feels right. IRL, she has a basset hound named Grace, which is equally as adorable; I do think a basset hound and a horse would make a great duo.
